Not all natural products are equal. Olive Remedy offers only natural products for the skin that are pharmacist made and doctor recommended. Our natural skin care products are made with sensitive skin in mind, in fact, they were initially created for our own baby (see Our Story). Baby skin is delicate and sensitive, therefore it is important to be mindful about what you’re putting on your little one's skin. Our mission is to offer excellent and exceptionally effective products that are natural and safe.
Why olive oil? Olive oil is mild and soothing with superior penetrating ability. It has been used for centuries for healing and nourishment of the skin. Olive Remedy products only contain extra virgin olive oil which contains flavenoid polyphenols that are natural antioxidants. These antioxidants contribute to healthier and more youthful skin.
Kokum butter is another wonderful natural ingredient we use at Olive Remedy. It is obtained from the Indian tree Garcinia indica. Kokum butter is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E, and is a non comedogenic (non pore-clogging) butter that melts when it comes into contact with skin allowing for quick absorption. Kokum butter is often only used in exotic body care products. Olive Remedy proudly uses Kokum butter in our natural skin products.
